This is one of the many wandering streams in the grove/meadow area. Notice how this tree actually floats over the stream? There are lots of strangenesses about these streams (see previous post for more on mystical streams.) This stream has the floating tree... there's the underworld rivers, and theres also a magical disappearing reappearing stream. Its hard to capture in a photograph unfortunately so you'll just have to believe me... a stream moves along, then vanishes and reappears about 10 feet later. It's quite nice because the path walks right thru the area where the stream no longer exists.
