So thats not the only claim to fame for Americana here... Another well loved artist was insipred to create one of the most famous of all American casts: Charlie Brown and friends. Yes that's right, Schultz lived here and created his famous characters from looking at the rocks in the area he resided in... Some of the original rocks that inspired him are known and now named after those characters. The most well known are Snoopy rock and Lucy rock. These are right on the 'main drag' in Sedona so lots of people know of them. Charlie rock, linus rock etc etc are not so easy to locate... But I'm trying to find a good guide book to help. This pic is of both lucy and snoopy... close ups are below.
