This old cottonwood tree has phellinus ignarius growing on it. For those of you who do not know, this mushroom is a close relative of the mushroom I produce my tea from. I found these specimen and took these pictures my 2nd day on the property. I was of course giddy and ecstatic as I have been day-dreaming of a find like this for 5 years. This tree is in the grove behind the spring/pond. I truly felt like I belonged here when I found these mushroom.
